Aligners (Invisalign, Sure Smile®)

HomeAligners (Invisalign, Sure Smile®)

Aligners are the leading way in the market to straighten your teeth.

Unlike traditional braces, aligners use clear, custom-made, virtually invisible aligners. These aligners gradually shift teeth into their desired position. The treatment process begins with a detailed consultation, followed by the creation of a personalized treatment plan using 3D imaging technology. Patients receive a series of aligners, each worn for a set amount of time before moving on to the next set.

We use Invisalign and Sure Smile®, which are popular for their comfort, convenience, and aesthetic appeal, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a discreet way to enhance their smile.

If you want to learn more about Invisalign and Sure Smile® and see how it works, schedule an evaluation with one of our dentists.

How it Works

To receive aligners, you will go through the following steps:

Initial evaluation:

Your first step is to visit our office to determine if Sure Smile® is right for you.

Dental scan:

Our dentists will use a state-of-the-art scanner to create a detailed, 3D scan of your current smile teeth. This scan will inform you of the custom treatment plan for your aligner. You’ll be able to see a sneak peek of what your new smile will look like after the aligner.

Create aligners:

After sending precise treatment instructions, Sure SMile® uses advanced computer technology to translate these instructions in a sequence of finely calibrated aligners.

Wear aligners:

Each aligner is worn for about two weeks and only taken out to eat, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next, your teeth will begin to move gradually — week by week until the final alignment prescribed is attained.

Paying for Aligners

There are a few ways to pay for Aligners:

We will verify any orthodontic insurance benefits

We believe the investment in Aligners – the investment in yourself – is worth the cost and hope not to let cost be a barrier to treatment. Contact our team to discuss options.

How long does it take for Aligners to work?

Aligners generally take between 6 and 18 months for results. The good news is that you may see a difference as soon as six months after the treatment. The results will vary, but our dentists have had a good experience with patients seeing results under our supervision. With clear aligners, you can be confident that you are receiving the industry-leading treatment.

What are the differences between aligners and braces?

Braces and aligners have a similar goal: to bring your teeth into better alignment. Straighter teeth improve your smile, make you feel more confident, and can improve your oral health over the long term. Aligners and braces offer different options. Braces are made of metal brackets and wires that are very noticeable, while clear plastic aligners are almost invisible.

Braces restrict the eating of some foods, while aligners can simply be removed while you eat. Similarly, aligners can be removed to clean, while braces are more challenging. Our dentists can help explain both options. Contact us today to schedule your first visit.
